Intuitive/Intuition - Instinctive, instinct, clairvoyance, an awareness of, insight,
presentiment, distinct, a clear direction of.
Intuitive massage is difficult to explain and place on paper as it is both physical and intuitive/spiritual in its application.
Through accidents, injuries, sporting injuries, over-stretching, over-reaching and falling, tendons and muscles are misplaced and slip from their original placement and cause discomfort, pain and overtime disabilities and immobility.
People are unable to use their limbs and bodies effectively, reducing their capacity to work or be employed.
Accidents could be sprains, broken bones, misaligned vertebrae, sciatica causing tendons to slip from their bones, taking muscles with them. These muscles and tendons can be anywhere in the body from the head, neck, shoulders, arms to even the tiniest muscles in the fingers. The problem could be in the back, buttocks, pelvis to the legs, knees, ankles and toes. Wherever there is a joint/tendon/muscle problem in the body Intuitive massage will correct and move the tendon back on their respective place on a bone.
Intuitive massage is a specialised massage working on specific injured areas, using mind, body and spirit to guide the fingers, thumbs and hands in the right direction over the sore, painful muscles and tendons.
Sometimes we start at the ankle or foot, massage/stroke or follow a muscle up the lower leg, attach a tendon to the knee and it may continue up the leg to the pelvis and attach somewhere on the pelvis. Sometimes this continues further up the body, front or back moving upwards to the scapula or chest attaching there and moving further to the shoulder and neck and attach somewhere on the cervical vertebrae or even on the jaw. Along the way clearing blockages causing trouble in the muscles and tendons.
With repeated visits and overtime these injured areas improve and heal, enabling the person better use of the body and limbs. Intuitive massage enables people to return to work, work more efficiently, effectively and longer, improving their performance and endurance.
Doctors and chiropractors adjust broken bones but do not massage and correct the associated tendons and muscles affected by the injuries.
This is where Intuitive massage stands alone and helps move slipped tendons and painful muscles back to their correct place.
The process works on the whole body, holistically, mind, body and spirit, to release any negativity associated with the injured area, freeing the muscles and joints, allowing the healing process to proceed, naturally.
The time or duration it takes the joints/tendons/muscles to heal depends on many factors:
- How serious is the injury sustained.
- How long ago the injury was sustained.
- What kind of work or activity the person is involved in.
- Is it a Repetitive Strain Injury (work/sport related) or a on-off injury/accident.
- Any other causes/signs/symptoms/side-effects to the injury.
With regular, on-going weekly to monthly visits the injury will heal and the person will have much:
- use of their limbs
- more flexibility
- improved mobility
- improved health and performance
- work better and longer.
- Intuitive Massage, needs to be practised, viewed and experienced to understand its value and gain a perspective of its potential use.
